This is a friendly backstreet pub which underwent a tasteful refurbishment in 2021. There is a separate dart and pool room off the bar area, an upstairs room and a large outside area with seating and TV. There are three handpumps on the bar; one regular cask ale from Ossett Brewery and semi-regular ales from Lancaster (mainly pales and blondes). The third handpump will serve real cider during the summer. Sky Sports and BT Sports are shown and the spacious bar area has plenty of seating.
