Large 17th century Manor House carefully restored, now a country pub with a large bar at its heart. Up to seven cask ales are available on handpumps with three regular beers and up to four changing beers from smaller local breweries such as Lancaster and Moorhouses brewery. Quality locally-sourced food is available. Stone walls, flagged and wooden floors, low-beamed ceilings and open fires add to the country house feel while a conservatory and external patio area allow views across the fields for diners and drinkers alike.
