Market Tap

The Market Tap, Preston (now back known as the Market Tavern) was the holder of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch's Cider Pub of the Year award for 2019.

The destination of the award was decided at the committee meeting held at the Leyland Lion, Leyland, on February 4th 2019.

Although the winner of the award was announced as long ago as February, the branch was unable to arrange a suitable presentation night with the pub. Eventually on September 26th 2019 the branch had a social in Preston, and on the night there was an informal handover of the Cider Pub of the Year certificate by the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch's Cider Co-ordinator Edd Fletcher.
